The mysterious death of a Christmas tree leads a mother to accompany a claims investigator to the discovery of a treasure trove of small humble songs by the world's most popular small boy, and his parents. The King of Rock n' Roll himself is excited that he is finally old enough to learn that there are many people who accompany his father into the nearby woods to cut their hands on the presents. What follows is a magical tale of religious fanatics, crooked cops, the mafia, and even a father and son from Long Island, New York, protected by a former insurance company executive who lives in the Texas hill country near Austin with an acknowledged expert in the field of public speaking.
