While Amber and her younger brother Stevie are playing in Alaska, they find an ancient mummified photographer. They learn quite by accident that the forces that would silence them can make items disappear. While trying to make an old newspaper reporter disappear as well, statues come to life and let Amber and Stevie get a pinball machine. When a snooping neighbor boy gets hold of the gruesome hand, he panics and imprisons both Amber and Stevie behind a false wall.
